Hiking the Butte

Beautiful 'chilly' Saturday, we're gearing up for the hike!

Ellie was petrified at the incline of this hike.
She held her daddy's hand the whole time!
They also had great conversation.
Daddy was telling her how he was going hunting to get some elk meat!
Somehow the conversation turned to me &
Ellie said the only thing that mommy could kill would be a DEAD PIG!
(She's probably right!)

Found a cave off to the side of the trail!

Smack Ramen was the reward for reaching the summit!
The kids were all excited, I was waiting for the OREOS, but they never came!
It was a great hike & very beautiful at the top!
