Our family had an amazing weekend with our friends, the Parker's. We went up to their family cabin in Island Park to finish out the rest of our spud vacation. The families were hoping to be able to go on some hikes and enjoy the beautiful fall weather we had been having. But, we were a week short. The weather changed on us that day and it was mighty chilly. Our families drove up to the top of Sawtell mountain in Island Park, you can see Henry's Lake behind us. It was so beautiful, but we couldn't stay out and look too long because it was soooooo cold! (I also am developing a fear of heights and it was definitely making me very nervous.)
We got our first snowfall of the season and the kids had a blast catching snowflakes on their tongues.

Ellie had fun throwing snowballs at me as I was snapping pictures! We had a great time and made some wonderful memories!All in all a great time was had by everyone. We played some fun games and enjoyed some activities, played the piano and ping pong and we can't forget about the FOOD! It was plentiful and yummy (especially the hot chocolate maker.)

I love seeing these fun pictures of your family. Idaho is so cold. It's 80 degrees in G.O. Maryland today.
