monday night ashlyn gave a great lesson on gifts of the spirit and how we are all blessed with so many. casey and i went through all of our children and were naming the gifts that we though they had been given.

tanner- gift of leadership

ashlyn- gift of confidence and uniqueness

sam- gift of compassion and kindness

we got to ellie and casey asks me what gift i think ellie has been given. before i had a chance to answer she quickly pipes in, "i have the gift of sucking!" the laughter in the room became uncontrollable. ever since ellie was a baby she has enjoyed sucking her two fingers on her left hand. so she thought that that was a wonderful gift that was given to her. our family night ended quickly after that!
